Potential newbie host

My wife and I recently have rented an Airbnb twice this year and are now considering buying our own. The town we want to do this in, Big Bear,CA has some strict requirements including face-to-face check-in, live within 15 miles of the city among others.

There are many property management companies that offer these services but also offer so many other things that I’m sure make the price pretty high. I have time and the interest to take on most of the actions and was planning on hiring a reliable cleaner, handy man and snow plow service. Outside of that I plan on handling remotely (2 hours away).

Any recommendations on finding these type of resources? In particular now I’m looking for a cleaner that is willing (for an extra fee of course) to meet at check-in. I’m sure there are a ton of people that make decent money for 30min of work here and there just wondering if there is a community to tap into.
